April 2020 Update: We will be having a live Q&A on Sunday, April 26 at 1PM Eastern Time (US). Before asking questions, please watch the video below (25 minutes) AND read the 2016 blog linked below.

In November 2016, we wrote a blog about Stephen Sherry’s ALS reversal. Below is the link to that blog with some more details about Stephen’s reversal, including his supplement list.

The video below was possible because of donors to our website. Thank you to all our donors. All PALS and families are benefiting because of your generosity.

People keep asking us, “When is the documentary film coming out?” and our response is: “When we get the rest of the funding we need to finish it.” See the thermometer on the donor page to see how much we have left to raise.

In the meantime, please enjoy this and other videos as well as all of the other information on this HealingALS.com website and on the

  1. Hi there. I’m a 32 year old single mother of two little girls 6, and almost 2. I have not been diagnosed yet with ALS although I am certain I have the disease. I have twitching everywhere, muscle atrophy, and extreme fatigue as well as major problems using the bathroom. I’m terrified that I’m going to die and leave my babies behind with no mother. I am willing to try anything. I am going to purchase the supplements that are listed above however I’m not certain on what brands are organic and safe to use. Can you share that information with me please?

    • Stephen cannot recommend anything since he is not a medical professional. It is always advisable to do your own research or speak to a holistic professional. That said he can share what he does. He currently takes maca in powder form about a teaspoon but not every day. He started with Maca in capsule form with the standard amount, he doesn’t remember exactly the dose he took.

  2. My brother was diagnosed with ALS 18 months ago, and he is doing Stephen Sherry regimen. I have questions in regards to milk thistle and maca. These are the only 2 supplements that he needs to add to his regimen. I know everyone is different, but I would like to the know the starting dose that Stephen Sherry started at with both of these supplements please. My brother is doing great! He is able to work, walk, breath, and eat with no assistance. He has bad days, but more good days than bad! He continues to improve!

  3. Would it be possible to receive Stephen’s contact information? My dear uncle was just diagnosed and we could use some hope and advice. Thanks very much.

  4. What an inspiration, thank you for sharing your story. Would like to know your thoughts on using Radicava in combination with supplements. Again, thank you so much. God Bless.

    • We do not make any recommendations. Instead we suggest you do your own research and get the advice of a holistic medical professional. We can tell you that the vast majority of the ALS reversals used primariy holistic medicine, mental and physical, not prescription medication to reverse their ALS.

  5. The most important thing to remember is that everyone is different. It is so great that you are looking at Steven Shackel’s website (www.shackel.org) and have contacted Kim and Kay Cherry (http://alswinners.com). Getting ideas from those who have healed and then experimenting with what works for you is exactly what you need to do to find your own solution. As far as exact dosages, since every individual is so different you need to experiment and find which dosages work for you specifically. Some things based on their research, these PALS knew they were helping even if they didn’t feel anything. Steven Shackel said he often gave things 4 to 6 months before deciding whether or not they were helping him. Here is a general list that Steven Sherry gave us. Dosage for you in particular will depend on your specific body’s needs and your specific symptoms. Hope this helps.

    Supplement I use regularly:
    Fish Oil
    Coconut Oil
    Magnesium
    Maca
    Silymarin
    Vitamin B
    Vitamin C
    Vitamin D3
    Curcumin
    Vitamin E
    CBD Cannabis Oil

    Supplement I use sporadically:
    Astaxanthin
    Chromium Picolinate
    Malate
    Bee Pollen
    Phosphatidyl Serine
    Melatonin
    D-Ribose
    Sovereign Silver
    Probiotics
    DMSO
    Magnesium Oil
    Iron Supplement
    CoQ10
    Black Seed
    L-Citruline

Possibly positive. I now use these sporadically or I would use them again if I think it might fit:
    Idebenone
    Beta Carotene
    Alginol
    Pycnogenol (Grape Seed/Pine Bark Extract)
    Valarian Root
    Lobelia
    Kava Kava
    Blue Lotus
    Gingko Biloba
    Parasite Cleanse
    DL-Phenylalanine
    Rutin
    ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid)
    Vicodin
    Catsclaw Extract
    Selenium

Possibly positive, I would use them again when I think it might fit:
    Olive Leaf
    Grape Seed Extract
    Grapefruit Seed
    EDTA
    Soma
    Beet Extract
    Hawthorne Berry
    Bilberry
    Acetyl L Carnitine
Stem-Kine (may boost stem cell production)
    Zinc/Copper
    Branched Chain Amino Acids
    Potassium
    Quercetin

I tried these but they had no effect so I discontinued them:
    DHEA
    GABA
    Oregano Oil
Powdered Energy Drinks (I used several types over the years)
    White Thyme Oil

Negative side effects. I would not use these again:
    St. John’s Wort
    Creatine

  6. Thank you so much for the video. I was touched by Stephen’s overall kindness as a human being which I believe shines through as he speaks. Also his willingness to share his story of healing even after 7-8 years of decline. None of the neurologists I’ve seen have spoken of any possibility other than 100% chance of indefinite deterioration.
I agree wholeheartedly with Stephen we must be willing to experiment with treatments. I am fortunate to have spoken with Kim and Kay Cherry (wonderful caring people) and have used much of their knowledge/experience recently to start trials of some supplements,etc.. I have also used some of Steve Shackel’s website as a guide of what is worth trying in my situation.
Is there any way to get the list of Stephen Sherry’s supplements WITH DOSAGES just to compare and help guide potential adjustments if I’m not getting the benefit from my current regimen?
Thank you so much for everyone involved with this site for bringing much needed hope and guidance. Thank you to Stephen Sherry for your video…I share in you and your family’s joy for your recovery. God bless you.

      • Please note that everyone is very different and so the number of milligrams of each supplement will vary. For example if someone is magesium deficient they will need a different amount of magnesium than someone who is not magnesium deficient. Someone with a lot of toxins in their body will not be absorbing as many vitamins and minerals, so will need more supplementation than someone who is less toxic. We suggest you see a holistic medical professional as a starting point, and also see the April 2016 blog as another starting point. Hope this helps.
